About MADE Laboratory

Brett Bowden

Brett founded Printed Threads in 2010. Since its foundation, the company has grown from a garage operation to a well-renowned, full-service custom apparel decoration and distribution company, grossing over $6M annually. In 2015 Inc. magazine featured the company at #826 on their 5000 fastest growing companies list. As a co-founder of Allmade Apparel and board member of Printing United Alliance, Brett has become an influencer in the branded apparel space. In 2021 Brett co-founded MADE Laboratory with the goal of educating and elevating the branded apparel space.

Tom Davenport

Tom founded Motion Textile in 2000, growing from a one-man print shop to a commercial branded apparel operation specializing in high-volume production and distribution, serving the biggest brands and companies in the world. After selling Motion Textile in 2018, Tom became a full-time consultant for BELLA+CANVAS, leveraging his knowledge and experience in design, decoration, and brand strategy. After serving on the board of directors as an executive committee member for nearly a decade, Tom Co-Founded MADE Laboratory with the goal of educating and elevating the branded apparel space.

Ryan Moor

As an entrepreneur, connector, and brand builder, Ryan has founded and developed some of the biggest names in the branded apparel space, including Ryonet, ROQ.US, Allmade Apparel, and MADE Laboratory. Combined, these companies generate over $80M in annual revenue. Ryan is passionate about contributing to the sustainable growth of the space while striving to make a positive impact on people and the planet.

Brian Lessard

With over thirty years of design, print, and technical testing experience, Brian has become renowned for his technical expertise and practical application. After working for Mirror Image where he won countless industry awards for his special effects printing design and development, Brian went to work for Avient, the largest global manufacturer of inks and plastics, heading up their ink applications laboratory. In 2021, Brian joined MADE Laboratory, employee his expertise with the goal of educating and elevating the branded apparel space.

First introduced to screen-printing while in college at UNT by DIY printing shirts in his apartment for friends' bands, in 2006 John began working in the industry in earnest, printing at various shops before starting his own operation in 2009. He transitioned out of self-employment to MADE Laboratory in 2021 and now, assists with Testing x Development, Design x Development, and Events x Education.
