Mike Smith is the founder and CEO of Aclymate, the one-stop climate shop for companies without sustainability teams. Aclymatehelps companies measure, reduce, report, and offset their climate footprint without having to become an expert and for an affordable price.
Mike previously founded RenewWest, a company that developed nature- based carbon offsets and where he led the planting of the largest carbon - focused reforestation project in U.S.history.
Prior to his climate career, Mike was an FA - 18 pilot for the U.S.Navy, with postings in the U.S., Japan, and Italy, three deployments aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, and 354 carrier landings.He's the happily married father to two great children, and in his free time, he enjoys skiing, backpacking, and sailing.
