Renya Nelson
Brand+Aid
Renya Nelson is the Founder and CEO of Brand+Aid, a purpose-driven branded merchandise agency she launched in 2012 with no safety net and a commitment to doing business differently. With a background in national events and cultural marketing—including Sundance, NYFW, SXSW, and the Grammys—she brings a rare blend of creative vision and operational grit to an industry built on relationships. Renya has led impact-forward programs for brands such as Nike, Goldman Sachs, Reddit, and CAA, helping enterprise clients align merchandise with ESG, sustainability, and social responsibility goals.
Beyond business, Renya is a community catalyst: inspired by Miami’s Wynwood Walls, she helped spearhead the transformation of Salt Lake City’s Granary District through 24 large-scale public murals, working alongside city leaders, artists, and local partners to make art accessible beyond gallery walls. She believes impact isn’t a department—it’s a decision—and that the branded apparel industry has the power to shape culture, community, and the future.
